Full Description 

This Mental Health Practitioner is a provisionally licensed LCSW or LMHC track clinician. The practitioner will receive weekly supervision by a licensed clinician and attend once-a-month group supervision that will cover various topics.

Qualifications (and opportunity for more training) 

  • Must hold a provisional license (if your discipline offers one)  and be working toward credentials in Massachusetts
  • A minimum of 6 months of outpatient or in-home therapy experience
  • A demonstrated ability to work as a team – thrives in collaborative settings
  • Is familiar with and adheres to professional ethics
  • An understanding of the guidelines and responsibilities for mandated reporters
  • An understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality laws, and their limits
  • Follows all ethical guidelines set forth by the Massachusetts Licensing Board and Elevate Counseling Services
  • Able to communicate efficiently in English

Duties

  • Continual and trackable progress toward licensure and credentialing
  • Intakes and assessments
  • Treatment planning
  • Ongoing outpatient counseling
  • Collaboration with appropriate individuals and treating professionals as needed
  • Consultation with supervisor
  • Attend required supervision 
  • Co-facilitate groups
  • Scheduling appointments and group meetings
  • Phone calls – comfortable calling and scheduling appointments using HIPPA compliance best practices.
  • Timely completion of documentation that meets medical necessity standards
